The Planning & Environment Unit has a responsibility for the review and regulation of the areas built heritage, in particular its designated conservation areas, listed buildings and Tree Preservation Orders.
It also provides a landscape and urban design service on planning applications and produces master plans, development briefs and general design guidance for developers and householders.
