Conceptual Strategies for prioritising open space improvements have been developed for all the towns and villages across the Falkirk Council area.
These actions have been assessed by a detailed analysis of: the quantity of open space provision; issues relating to the quality and distribution of, and access to, different types of sites; open space connections; and opportunities for improvements to all of the above, which have in turn fed upwards into the strategy objectives.

A range of open space sites across the Falkirk Council have had their quality assessed to enable the development of the Open Space Strategy.
Below are the open spaces within this settlement which were part of the qualitative assessment.
