Through phased consultations with people living and working across the Falkirk Council area there are now path networks around Denny, Dunipace, Bonnybridge, Tamfourhill, Stenhousemuir, Larbert, Airth, Dunmore, Falkirk, Grangemouth, Skinflats, Polmont, Maddiston, Westquarter, California, Shieldhill and Bo'ness. We also have a good network of linkages between communities.
There are also good networks around many key visitor attractions such as Callendar House, Park and Woods, Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway, Bo'ness Foreshore, Antonine Wall, Falkirk Wheel and Roughcastle.
Routes along the Union and Forth & Clyde Canals, the Rivers Carron and Avon, the Forth Estuary, old railway lines and quiet country roads, currently forming the main spines of these linkages.
