The original Falkirk Council
Structure Plan| was approved by Scottish Ministers and came into operation in June 2002.
The Structure Plan sets out the development strategy and supporting policies for the period up to 2020. It has been produced after consultation with all sections of the community and agencies with an interest in the area.
Having promoted an Alteration to the Structure Plan in 2005 Falkirk Council has received notification from Scottish Ministers of final modifications and approval of the 1st Alteration to the Falkirk Council Structure Plan.
The Approved Alteration became operative on 29th January 2007 and the Council has now issued a consolidated Falkirk Council Structure Plan 2007 which incorporates changes made through the Falkirk Council Structure Plan 1st Alteration. This Plan supersedes the Structure Plan approved in 2002.
