Bus stops and shelters

Falkirk Council provides bus stops and shelters for bus users throughout the Falkirk Council area.

The provision of new stops and shelters is paid for by the Transport Planning Unit. Requests are normally received through local Councillors. Members of the public can put their request in writing direct to the Transport Planning Unit at the email address below.

The Transport Planning Unit deals with requests for new locations of stops and shelters.

Damaged bus shelters should be reported to CLARENCE on freephone 0800 23 23 23. The CLARENCE operator will then contact the appropriate Council Unit (e.g. the Cleansing Team for broken glass or the Area Roads Team for vandalism or repairs.)

For further information about bus stops and shelters please contact Transport Planning, Stops and Shelters on(01324) 504723.
