The Council is has revised and updated its Local Transport Strategy| (LTS). This sets out the Council’s policy direction for roads and transport and the works to be carried out over the period 2006 to 2009.
Our transport vision is to create a safe, reliable, convenient, accessible and sustainable transport system that truly contributes to a high quality of life for those living, working and visiting in the Falkirk Council area.
Public consultation and involvement has been fundamental to developing and implementing the most appropriate transport strategy for the area. Consultations have helped us to devise a strategy that best reflects the needs and desires of the local community while meeting our overall objectives for transport.
This is the first opportunity to view the finalised strategy. Printed copies of the strategy document are being prepared and will soon be available (for a charge).
