The Transport Planning Unit issues concessionary travel passes, parking concessions and contracts for local bus services as well as promoting public transport and cycling.
The Unit also organises school transport, school crossing patrols, bus stops and shelters. The Unit liaises with central government on transport issues and applies for funding for transport initiatives.
