Commercial waste can be disposed of at Falkirk Council's two Waste and Recycling Centres. Both centres have the facilities to recycle the following:

cans - aluminium and steel

car batteries

cardboard

engine oil

garden waste

glass bottles and jars

scrap metal
-
textiles - clean and dry textiles, handbags and pairs of shoes

wood
Commercial users must obtain a Small Traders Tipping Ticket prior to using the Centres. There is a charge of £27.81 per visit for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes GVW.

Roughmute is currently operating a partial service (due to a fire). Housholders wishing to bring materials on site using cars and trailers for recycling and disposal can do so between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Sunday until further notice.

Kinneil Kerse Waste & Recycling Centre is open daily, apart from Christmas and New Year’s Day, from 8.00am to 7.45pm.
Small Traders Tipping Tickets can be purchased from any of the Council One Stop Shops|.

Waste and Recycling Centres are licensed by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) and Falkirk Council is obliged to report any illegal dumping of commercial waste.
