Project Communications Strategy

The Communications Strategy includes the following processes and involves a number of stakeholders throughout the Community.

It is our intention to ensure that effective consultation and feedback to stakeholders continues throughout all stages of the project.

Principle
Open (subject to necessary commercial confidentiality), timeous and effective 2-way communications with all stakeholders. Proactive stance re emergent issues.
Messages
  • Key stages of project progression
  • Ad Hoc
Channels
  • Dedicated section of Website
  • Falkirk News
  • Education Matters
  • School Boards
  • Nominated co-ordinator within each school
  • Project Team/Steering Group reports and minutes
  • Ad hoc presentations and briefings including public meetings
Feedback
Important messages are received by target audience and that engender correct response/actions. Mechanisms will need to be put in place to track this. Essential that decisions/outcomes are communicated, particularly where representations have been made by stakeholders. Where the decision/outcome is inconsistent with any such representations, the the reasons/rationale needs to be explained.
