Falkirk Public Social Partnership Pilot

Late in 2009 CVS Falkirk & District and Falkirk Council applied to be one of the ten pilots across Scotland for the Scottish Government's new Public Social Partnership programme.

The programme aims to bring together public sector and third sector partners to look at how services can be delivered more innovatively ensuring services are of a high quality and are efficient.

In Falkirk, the project being led by Falkirk's Children's Commission, has secured pilot status and will develop a robust commissioning framework for services for children and families.

Three successful co-creation events have taken place, and we have organised a fourth.

Falkirk PSP Pilot ends on 31 March 2011

This event will provide an opportunity to feedback on the pilot, including the commissioning framework and prototype case studies, and update on the end of the pilot and next steps.

Although the pilot stage is almost complete, work will continue in Falkirk around the commissioning framework and how the learning from this pilot can be incorporated into our future approaches to service design/re-design and procurement.
