Head Teacher/Manager:
Ms Gillian Robertson
Carrongrange School is Falkirk Council's only secondary school for pupils with moderate, severe and complex additional support needs. It is a purpose-built special school, opened in 2000, situated in the centre of Larbert, 3 miles from Falkirk town centre.
The current roll is 120 pupils, who are taught and supported by skilled and experienced teachers and support staff who are committed to meeting their individual needs, and to making sure that they can all work at their own pace.
Pupils follow a curriculum that is varied, relevant, challenging and enjoyable. It is based on a secondary curriculum, but adapted to meet the individual needs of the pupils. Personal and social education and life skills play an important part in preparing pupils for life after school.
Parents/Carers and their children are most welcome to contact the school and come for a visit, and to find out more by looking on our school website|.
