Playground at Inchlair Nursery School
Head Teacher/Manager:
Mrs Isobel Edmond
Inchlair Nursery School is a custom-built unit opened in January 1977, which is situated in the village of Stenhousemuir, approximately 3 miles from the centre of Falkirk. It caters for children aged 3-5 years old who live in the Stenhousemuir area.
The nursery operates during school term times. The morning session runs from 9.00-11.30am and the afternoon session from 1.00-3.30pm. There is a limited number of extended day places available for children of working parents.
In line with Falkirk Council's Admission Policy, we offer places to children in the term after their third birthday.
We value parents as partners in their child's education. We aim to involve and support parents in the care and education of their children. The nursery curriculum develops and extends children's previous home experiences. Following the children's interests, we plan the nursery environment both indoors and outdoors to ensure that all children have the opportunity to develop as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors. All of this is achieved through a mixture of adult-led and free-rolling child-centred play.
We welcome families to have a look around the nursery and talk with staff before making the decision to apply for a place.
