Bainsford Primary School is a non-denominational primary school situated approximately 2 miles from the centre of Falkirk.

Bainsford Primary School, officially opened in April 1978, is an open-plan school built in four main blocks, each containing four teaching bays. Each area has a balcony space. At present we have 11 classes between nursery and primary 7. In addition we have an enhanced facility which allows us to support pupils with additional support needs.

Our nursery class has places for 40 pupils who attend on a half-day basis. Nursery education is available offering 2.5 hours of pre-school education sessions per week. Children will benefit from the high quality experience, which will enhance their social, emotional and intellectual development. More information can be found on the Childcare and Pre-School| pages.

There is a Breakfast Club starting before school offering a healthy balanced breakfast. You can download a breakfast menu from the Catering Services| page.

Bainsford Primary School has an active Parent Council and PTA and we pride ourselves on having a very good relationship with parents. We communicate on a regular basis about all aspects of school life.

The school aims to provide a curriculum suited to the needs and abilities of each individual pupil.

Pupils are expected to contribute fully to the life of the school and the community and their views, as well as parents', are actively encouraged to ensure the life at Bainsford Primary School is a partnership between all those involved.
