Head Teacher/Manager:
Mr Alan Campbell

Bantaskin Primary School was opened in 1959 and is a non-denominational school situated approximately 1 mile from the Falkirk town centre.

The school provides education from nursery to primary 7. Windsor Park School for Hearing Impaired shares the same campus as Bantaskin. Pupils wear the same uniform and integrate into our classes where appropriate. A before and after school facility, called First 4 Kids, is available. Please call 01324 671344 for more information on this service.

Nursery education is available offering 2½ hour pre-school education sessions per week. Children will benefit from the high quality experience which will enhance their social, emotional and intellectual development. More information can be found on the Childcare and Pre-School pages|.

“Our aspiration is to enable all children to develop their capacities as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors to society”*

We at Bantaskin Primary School fully endorse the above statement taken from *The Curriculum Review Group – November 2004.

At Bantaskin Primary School we aim to:

  • ensure that all pupils are able to realise their potential through the promotion and recognition of achievement and excellence, thereby raising the standards
  • provide effective support systems for all pupils which promote personal and social development and underpin academic achievement in tandem with strategies for social inclusion and equality
  • work together to provide a welcoming, safe and caring environment that supports pupils to have the confidence to give of their best in a climate of trust and respect for diversity
  • build and maintain effective partnerships between the school, its parents, carers and wider community
  • ensure that all pupils are encouraged to demonstrate good behaviour, self-discipline and respect for others within a positive environment that promotes and celebrates success.

Our pupils aim to:

  • Provide a friendly environment where everyone is encouraged to take part and not be left out.

The school provides a wide range of informal learning activities at the after school clubs, including: football, touch rugby and cross country.
