Bonnybridge Primary School
Mrs Jill Stocks
Bonnybridge Primary is one of two non-denominational schools serving the village of Bonnybridge to the west of Falkirk.
The roll in 2008 was 390 which included 80 children in our nursery class.
Bonnybridge village is within easy travelling distance of all major cities in Central Scotland, being adjacent to the motorway network and close to rail links.
Although most of the heavy industry once associated with the village has disappeared, employment levels are around the national average.
There is a wide range of extra curricular activities available after school for pupils at all stages including drama, football and I.C.T.
The school is constructed along traditional lines with spacious corridors and classrooms and a large games/dining hall. A fully equipped computer suite can accommodate a class. The library has been recently relocated and refurbished to a very high standard.
The well-kept grounds offer plenty of playing area, particularly during the drier months.
