Grange Primary School

Grange Primary School
Grange Primary School
Head Teacher/Manager:
Mrs Carol Muirhead

We are a non-denominational school serving the eastern end of Bo'ness.

Our nursery class also caters for children from the nearby village of Blackness. Nursery education is available offering 2.5 hours of pre-school education sessions each week. Children will benefit from the high quality experience that will enhance their social, emotional and intellectual development. More information can be found on the Childcare and pre-school pages|.

There is a Breakfast Club starting before school offering a healthy balanced breakfast. You can download a breakfast menu from the Breakfast Club page|.

Education in its fullest sense reaches beyond the experience offered by the school but has as its heart the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values which we strive to develop. In Grange Primary School we aim to enable every child to be equipped for life, building on the experiences in the home and, in some cases, playgroup or nursery.

Our flexible curriculum continues the development of children's social relationships with parents, peers and others; it engages children in activities both within the school and in the wider community; it gives opportunities to explore, investigate, develop skills and knowledge in a planned, organised way; it encourages children to discover the world and their place in it, and to develop self confidence and imagination in a world of change and challenge.

Our overall aim is to meet and develop the educational, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the child, to make it possible for them to live life to the full as individuals and as caring members of society.
