Limerigg Primary School

Limerigg Primary School
Limerigg Primary School
Head Teacher/Manager:
Mrs Lynne Vint

This is a non-denominational school serving the small village of Limerigg, situated 8 miles from Falkirk on the border with North Lanarkshire. It is a small friendly school with an "open door" policy. This encourages a great deal of participation in school life. Many parents run after school clubs and organise successful fun and fundraising events.

The school building was built in 1876 and has been extensively upgraded. The playground is attractive and has been extended to include a football pitch, quiet corner and a wildlife garden, which was established and is maintained by parents and pupils. The school has an outlook over the Black Loch and encourages the children's awareness and respect of nature and the environment.
