Maddiston Primary School is a non-denominational primary school situated in the village of Maddiston, which is approximately 3 miles from Falkirk town centre.
In order to ensure accuracy in our records, parents are asked to bring the child’s birth certificate when the child is enrolled at school. Enrolment takes place towards the end of January or beginning of February. Children who join school mid-term can do so by calling at the office for an enrolment form and, if living outwith the catchment area, a placing request form.
The nursery class has accommodation for 30 children in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. The class is staffed by a nursery teacher and two early years officers. The morning class is 9.00–11.30 am. The afternoon class is 12.30–3.00 pm. Children attending the nursery class must be delivered and picked up by an adult. Children will benefit from the high quality experience, which will enhance their social, emotional and intellectual development. More information can be found on the Childcare and pre-school pages|.
There is a Breakfast Club starting before school offering a healthy balanced breakfast. You can download a breakfast menu from the Breakfast Club page|.
