Moray Primary School is a non-denominational primary school situated in the heart of Grangemouth, approximately 4 miles to the east of Falkirk.
At Moray Primary we aim to provide for all pupils a curriculum suited to their needs and abilities. The main focus of our planning centres around the 5–14 national guidelines, which covers all areas: English language, mathematics, environmental studies, expressive arts, and religious and moral education.
Our School Development Plan ensures that we maintain a manageable pace of change when implementing these documents. All pupils have access to the curriculum unless there has been parental withdrawal (for eaxmple, from religious education) and a policy of equality applies in this school.
We seek to provide up-to-date resources to enhance our teaching and to enrich the pupils' learning. A high priority is placed on encouraging progress in literacy and numeracy.
Nursery education is available offering 2.5 hours of pre-school education sessions each week. Children will benefit from the high quality experience, which will enhance their social, emotional and intellectual development. More information can be found on the Childcare and pre-school pages.
