Slamannan Primary School is a non-denominational school situated in the rural village of Slamannan, approximately 6 miles south east of Falkirk. It enjoys an open outlook over farmland and is served by a mixture of local authority and private housing. Our current roll is 127 with pupils split between six classes. We currently provide enhanced provision for 16 children who require additional support. Where possible, these children are included in mainstream classes.
Our school building provides us with excellent accommodation and comprises an original building dating from 1875 and a 1970s two-story extension. Eight rooms are currently used as classrooms. Additional accommodation enables a range of other rooms to be used for dedicated purposes. These include: a music room, tutorial/parents' room, library, structured play room, GP/art room and computer suite. We also benefit from a large, well-equipped assembly/sports hall and a separate dining room and a courtyard garden.
There is a Breakfast Club starting before school offering a healthy balanced breakfast. You can download a breakfast menu from the Breakfast Club page|.
