St Joseph's RC Primary School is situated in the village of Bonnybridge, which lies approximately 5 miles southwest of Falkirk. The original building, which was opened in 1925, was replaced in 1989. The school building consists of a nursery class, six classrooms, gym/dining hall, a newly refurbished library and a computer suite.
At St Joseph's we provide a programme that develops knowledge, understanding and skills in all curricular areas. We aim to help all children to achieve their full potential. The school has a very positive ethos, based on Christian values where staff, pupils, parents and visitors support each other in a caring environment and pupils develop self-esteem and self-confidence.
Nursery education is available offering 2.5 hours of pre-school education sessions each week. Children will benefit from the high quality experience, which will enhance their social, emotional and intellectual development. More information can be found on the Childcare and pre-school pages|.
There is a Breakfast Club starting before school offering a healthy balanced breakfast.
There is a programme of out of school activities, which includes football, dancing and netball.
We have a very active P.T.A. that works hard to support and improve the school.
There is a pupil council that gives the children a voice in the decision-making within the school.
