St Margaret’s Primary School is a non-denominational primary school, situated close to the village of Polmont, which is approximately 3 miles from the centre of Falkirk.
St Margaret’s is a large primary school with a combination of semi-open-plan and traditional classrooms. The school was built in 1977 and extended during the eighties to accommodate children from new housing developments.
In addition to classrooms there is a general purpose room, a music/drama room, a hall, library and a recent addition of a purpose built games hall.
The school has recently undergone an internal refurbishment, which was completed in 2007.
A nursery department is located within the main building and a second nursery class is at the school’s former site in Greenpark Drive. Altogether 100 children attend on a half-day basis during the session prior to enrolling in primary 1.
Children will benefit from the high quality experience, which will enhance their social, emotional and intellectual development. More information can be found on the Childcare and pre-school pages.
Childcare is available from an out of school care group provided by G.O. Kids, please contact 0775 136 5335 for more information on this service.
