Whitecross Primary School
Head Teacher/Manager:
Ms Claire Quigley (Acting)
Whitecross Primary School is a non-denominational primary school, situated in a rural location, close to the eastern boundary of Falkirk Council and West Lothian Council. The town of Whitecross is approximately 6 miles from Falkirk. We aim to deliver a quality curriculum in a happy and stimulating environment.
The academic curriculum is particularly concerned with the following areas: English language (and French for primary 6/7 pupils), mathematics, environmental studies (science, people and society, health, technology, information technology), expressive arts (P.E., drama, art and music), and religious and moral education.
Our outdoor education programme includes orienteering, hillwalking, skiing and water sports. An after-school club provides study support for senior pupils and a range of extra curricular activities is available in our out of school hours learning programme to enrich education and widen horizons.
Nursery education is available offering 2.5 hours of pre-school education sessions each week. Children will benefit from the high quality experience, which will enhance their social, emotional and intellectual development. More information can be found on the Childcare and pre-school pages|.
