If you have any pension rights from a previous arrangement, you will probably be able to transfer them to the Firefighters Pension Scheme.
If you want to transfer, you should apply to do this within 12 months of joining the Scheme.
Any transfer value paid by your former scheme will be used to buy extra rights for you in the Scheme.
