Falkirk Council owns and manages 24% of all the housing stock in the Falkirk Council
area. We are the biggest local provider of social rented housing.
We can offer a range of good quality, affordable housing to help meet the needs
of local people, including those with specific needs.
However, there are a lot more people on the housing register than there are houses
available for letting. There are currently around 10,000 applications on the housing
list, but only around 1,200 council houses become available to let each year.
We let our houses through a system called Homespot.
This lets you decide which houses you wish to be considered for.
Changes to Homespot
Some changes have been introduced to Homespot with effect from 01 April 2015. These
changes are listed on our Homespot page.
