In terms of the Council's own housing stock, the Standard Delivery Plan, submitted to Communities Scotland in April 2005, sets out how the Council will ensure that its houses meet the Scottish Housing Quality Standard by 2015.
Falkirk Council’s first Standard Delivery Plan is the start of a planning and investment process that will ensure the Council’s housing stock meets the Scottish Housing Quality Standard by 2015. It represents a development of the Council’s Local Housing Strategy in setting out long term investment proposals for the Council’s stock. A four-year timeframe is envisaged involving the development and refinement of the Council’s stock database, the preparation of detailed housing investment programmes to meet SHQS requirements and longer term procurement plans to ensure that stock is improved to and maintained at the required quality standard.
Please note that the Standard Delivery Plan and appendices are provided here in PDF format.
The Standard Delivery Plan is a very big file and it will take a long time to download from a dial-up connection.
