Disability information service

Falkirk Council's Disability Information Service aims to help people with disabilities and older people live as independently as possible. We provide an information and advice service covering every aspect of disability or difficulty with independent living.

Who can we help?

We provide a service to a range of people including:

  • older people
  • families
  • carers

How can we help?

We can help by providing information and advice on a range of topics, including:

  • benefits
  • financial problems
  • housing
  • housing support
  • home adaptations
  • equipment
  • holidays
  • transport
  • mobility
  • education
  • employment

We can also sometimes help with applying for grants to assist people with disabilities to finance what they need but can't afford.
