Libraries, museums, arts, entertainment, parks, the countryside, cemeteries and crematorium, sport, leisure, tourism, economic development, training, community learning, community halls, youth strategy, employment and training, property services and local community planning.
Corporate and Neighbourhood Services
Policy and performance review, information and communications technology, human resources, communications, facilities management (which includes building maintenance and management and catering), estates management (including street care, refuse collection and grounds maintenance), housing management services, tenant participation, allocations, mediation, homelessness, housing investment policy, partnership work and private sector.
Development Services
Land use planning, development management, building standards, environmental and waste strategy, public transport, roads development and maintenance, building and engineering design, consumer protection, licensing, environmental health and civil contingences/emergency planning.
Education Services
Pre-5s, primary, secondary and special schools, psychological services, new community schools, adult returners and Higher Still links with Falkirk College.
