The Corporate Records Centre (CRC) is located within the basement area of the Municipal Buildings, Falkirk. It is made up of 10 rooms, fully fitted with mobile shelving units and currently houses approximately 120,000 files. This facility provides storage for semi-current and non-current records for all Services of the Council.
The CRC was awarded a Silver Award for Service Improvement at the Council's Annual Celebrating Success event in 2006.
In addition to this award the Corporate Records Team received a highly commended award at the Records Management Society's Annual Conference in Brighton in 2007.
