The ePlanning service is a single shared service between the Scottish Government and the 33 local planning authorities that provides consistent and easy to use forms to submit planning applications and appeals online. The original eplanning portal was replaced in January 2016 with ePlanning.scot which now forms part of the eDevelopment.scot suite of services.

This enables the electronic submission of planning applications and supporting documents. It also allows you to collaborate with other parties in producing an application online.

Online applications are simpler to complete, will save you time and money and will be delivered to us more swiftly, enabling us to start considering your application sooner.

You can access the portal by visiting the eDevelopment.scot website or by using the link at the bottom of this page. There is a single eDevelopment.scot login process, so if you are already registered on eBuilding Standards, you will be able to use the same login details for ePlanning.
