Disabled parking bays are granted to those who meet the requirements of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places (Scotland) Act 2009.
Disabled persons' parking places are promoted and implemented by us as required by law. Proposed disabled persons’ parking places are advertised on the last Thursday of every month in the Falkirk Herald, on site and on tellmescotland. Members of the public can object to proposals should they wish to do so. Unresolved objections are referred to our Planning Committee for a decision.
A space can be used by anyone with a disabled parking blue badge. A space cannot be reserved for the sole use of the applicant.
Misuse of a disabled persons’ parking bay should be reported to Police Scotland.
