If you wish to apply to adopt a child from another country and you live within the Falkirk Council area, you will need to have a home study completed by a social worker, outlining your circumstances. You will also need to be approved as prospective inter-country adopters by the local authority adoption panel.
You may be charged for this service, depending on your income and capital. There is a charge of £3,000 to meet the cost of this service. We will take into account your ability to pay this charge.
