Local services
The Falkirk Children's Rights Officer |leads an independent advocacy service for children and young people. The service is run by the charity Quarriers and can help to advise you on a number of issues. These include advocacy and they can help in relation to:

issues about education, how people treat you, health, family matters

any other issues affecting young people in Falkirk
If appropriate, the Children's Rights Officer will represent you by being with you at children's hearings, review meetings and mediation with parents/carers. Who Cares? Scotland| is a national organisation that supports and advocates for children and young people who are looked after and accommodated. The Who Cares? worker will:

provide information to young people about their rights and responsibilities

ensure that young peoples' opinions are included in consultations and discussions that affect their lives

represent young people at meetings and to managers where appropriate
