This is a 24-hour confidential helpline for children and young people who are in trouble and who therefore need someone to confide in. Telephone: 0800 1111

Childline Scotland|

This agency provides free, confidential help and advice to children and young people. Telephone: 0800 111

Childrens Hearings|

This site provides comprehensive information for parents and children on how the system works.

Child Law Centre|

Child Law Centre is a web-site providing free legal advice for kids. Telephone: 0800 328 8970

Falkirk Children's Rights Officer|

This is the website of the Falkirk Children's Rights Officer who will provide free and independent help, support and advice to any child or young person in Falkirk.

Hands On Scotland|

This web site was developed by NHS Fife and Barnardos and considers dealing with troubling behaviour in young people and helping to promote positive wellbeing.

Heads Up Scotland|

This site is about improving the mental health of all Scotland's children.

Kidsmart|

An award-winning practical internet and safety website for schools, children and parents.

Moodjuice|

This is a self-help site for children and adults developed by NHS Forth Valley. It offers advice on emotional difficulties and self-help information.

National Self Harm Network|

This is a national network of support for people who self-harm.

NSPCC|

This is a 24-hour helpline for anyone concerned about a child's welfare. Telephone: 0808 800 5000

Respect Me|

This is Scotland's anti bullying service and provides help with strategies to deal with bullying issues.

Children 1st|

A leading child care charity with lots of information on a variety of topics including the Accord for the Protection of children in Scottish Sport 2006. Also runs a free confidential helpline for anyone caring for a child. Telephone: 0808 800 2222

Children's Panels are Scotland's distinctive approach to support children and young people in trouble or at risk.  The system is founded on the principle of local people from the children's own communities making decisions about how best to address children's needs

Internet Watch Foundation|

Here you can report abusive images and access hotlines in many countries to report abuse. This site has excellent information for workers and the public on internet abuse of children.
