Falkirk Council's Children with Disabilities Team have an established network of experienced carers who provide much needed and valuable short breaks to children who have a range of disabilities.
The break can be for a couple of hours or a couple of days a month in the carer's home. This can be a challenging but rewarding experience for our carers and the children they care for.
We are looking for new carers from all walks of life to join our team. You do not need any special training, just a genuine interest in working and caring for children with a range of disabilities. You will receive training and support, plus fees and allowances to cover the cost of caring for a young person.
