Someone from the service will then arrange to visit you and introduce you to a venue near your home. You (and a friend/carer, if you wish) can then come along and meet the group to help you decide whether you would like to attend.
It takes time to get to know everyone and we would expect introductions to be gradual until you become familiar with the group.
Please ensure that you tell us about any medication that you need to take. In addition, once you start with us, it would help us if you let us know when you are going to be away from your home and therefore won't be able to attend Home from Home.
Will it cost?
If you are receiving services through the Social Work department then the Home from Home service may be free. The service can also be purchased on a private basis.
