Most of our services are home-based, provided by special carers in their own, ordinary domestic homes. The emphasis is on hospitality as well as care. This gives the guest a sense of normality and value, and people soon relax and enjoy the special atmosphere.
It also enables us to see service-users first and foremost as people with different interests, personalities, backgrounds, values, health and emotional needs, as well as people facing change and loss. Emphasis is placed on life story work, music and the arts. People working out of their own homes providing the services are carefully selected, trained and approved by a panel. Their work and venue are regularly reviewed.
We also understand that quality of life is about real choice and you being in control. We know it's hard to always get it right, and we therefore welcome both your comments and complaints. This helps us to make sure our services are right for you in the future. You can contact us using the details in the Contact Us section on this page.
