We offer a number of groupwork and individual programmes to help to rehabilitate offenders, and for those who are subject to statutory supervision.
The individual programmes include:
Employability project
This programme aims to tackle the barriers faced by individuals with a criminal record in assessing available education training and employment opportunities. It targets offenders aged 16 and over who are subject to statutory supervision, and assessing them on their employability, and therefore identifying the training needs. Emphasis is placed on:

Substance misuse counselling
This programme aims to help those with serious alcohol/drug misuse to put in place coping strategies, and to educate them about the effects of substance misuse.
Fast track assessment and treatment programme
This programme is for repeat offenders aged 16 and over who are at risk of re-offending or getting a custodial sentence due to drug related offending.
Connect services for young people
Connect is a multi-disciplinary team offering services to young people who experience difficulties in relation to substance misuse and/or offending behaviour in the Falkirk Council area.
Referrals are accepted in relation to young people aged between 12 and 18 years of age who reside in the Falkirk Council area and who:

experience difficulties as a result of offending and/or substance misuse
or
-
whose lives are negatively impacted by the substance misuse of other people (where this results in behaviour which places them at risk to themselves or others)

The groupwork programmes deal with the following areas of work:
Constructs: positive steps to stop offending groupwork programme
This programme is for male adults (over 18) on a statutory order who are assessed as being at medium to high risk of re-offending. It involves meeting as a group over 26 weeks with the aim of reducing re-offending rates, helping participants improve their problem-solving skills, and assisting them to integrate better with society.
Domestic abuse groupwork programme
The Caledonian programme is aimed at adult males convicted of domestic abuse who are placed under supervision or subject to statutory Aftercare. The programme helps clients to explore their abusive behaviour, with a view to encouraging positive change. In addition the scheme offers support to family members affected by the abuse via contact with Women's Workers and a Children's Worker
Community sex offender groupwork programme
This programme is for male adults convicted of a sexual offence and who are involved in a voluntary or statutory way with the Criminal Justice Service. The aim of this is to provide a personal change programme designed to reduce the risk of reoffending by adult male sex offenders.
Women's group
This is for women offenders who are made subject to a Statutory Order. Here women can access a wide range of services relating to health, parenting, drugs/alcohol, employment etc.
Racial awareness programme
This is for those who have committed racially aggravated offences. The main aims of the programme are:

Anger management
This programme is for those who are subject to a statutory order. The primary aims are:
