The Falkirk area has a range of activities on offer with miles of cycle routes, acres of golf courses, a 100m long artificial ski-slope, or if you prefer to stay indoors, there's a karting centre and leisure centre complete with beach area!


There are several cycling routes in Falkirk, including canal towpaths|. A popular route is from Edinburgh to the Falkirk Wheel|. Please take note of the Waterways Code| issued by British Waterways when cycling on towpaths.

Elsewhere in Falkirk, the Callendar Estate Cycle Trails| offer 19km of single track cycle trails through mature woodland offering a great day out for all the family. The trails are graded from beginner to advanced providing something for everyone.

Finally, the new Helix site, due to open in 2013, also has cycling routes, including the 20 mile Helix around Town Tour|.

On offer at the Falkirk Stadium is a Soccer Centre.

Everyone enjoys playing on the fantastic, next generation outdoor 5 a-side pitches. You can use the Soccer Centre in lots of ways - for a regular or occasional game with your mates or a works or office tournament. Of course, they also have fully dedicated changing rooms with showers, and the pitches are fully floodlit.
