Fourteen people attended - 2 people were from BMD, 1 from the Project Management Office and 11 from Housing Services.

Why was a Hackathon needed?

To agree a Housing Services communication strategy that aims to improve how and what the service communicates to its customers, both internally and externally.

What were the key points discussed?

  • How to improve communication between teams within Housing Services and customers
  • Develop of a communication strategy written in plain English
  • Identify core principles of the strategy
  • Identify key areas of the strategy

What actions came from the Hackathon?

A draft strategy has been written and circulated to attendees for comment. Once comments have been received strategy will be finalised and circulated.
