The second Leadership Forum was held at Falkirk Stadium on Tuesday 19 September, opened by Mary Pitcaithly, the Chief Executive who set the scene for the day. Councillor Cecil Meiklejohn attended the morning session and spoke in support of the change programme.
Fiona Lees, Chief Executive of East Ayrshire Council and Chair of Solace Scotland talked about their extensive change programme.
Information Governance Manager Wendy Barber talked about the Information Working for You project and showcased how simplified data that is better and easier to access will help improve the customer experience and help staff to work more efficiently.
Teacher of the year Jacqueline Campbell, and Deputy Head, Anne Marie Jess showed how digitally advanced St Mungos Secondary School is through their, OneNote Class Notebook, which earned them a Microsoft Showcase School and Microsoft Training Academy status and will be launching soon.
Updates on the Communications Strategy and Organisational Development Plans and the initial findings of the Employee Engagement Survey also featured, and there were questions asked and actions for Managers to take away based on discussions.
