This module is aimed at providing managers with the practical skills required to undertake recruitment in line with the Council's Recruitment & Selection Policy.
It is essential that managers attending this course complete, in advance, the e-learning Recruitment & Selection course, which will provide an understanding of the key elements of the Council's Recruitment & Selection Policy and relevant legislation.
By the end of the session you will be able to:
- Develop person specifications for posts outlining essential and desirable criteria
- Shortleet in line with the Council's Recruitment & Selection Policy
- Develop interview questions based on behavioural interviewing; and
- Conduct a behavioural interview.
