Employees are being encouraged to have their say on a proposed new workforce package that includes new terms and conditions based around our RITA values.
Working with trades unions, officers have produced proposals that aim to ensure the right people with the right skills are working for the Council over the next five years and beyond.
Now employees are being asked to have their say - and help shape the proposals - at a series of hour long information sessions taking place across the Council estate.
Tracey Gillespie, Council of the Future Fit for the Future Project Manager, said: “We need to ensure that the proposed new package meets the needs of our employees. That is why we are asking managers to provide employees with the time to attend one of the roadshow so they can find out more and provide feedback.”
Due to venue size, booking is essential and employees are being asked to attend an event in a building located within their Service or attend a session in Municipal Buildings.
To reserve a space visit Eventbrite and click register for a choice of dates, times and locations. Additional dates, times and locations will be added over the coming weeks.
A video of the workforce package presentation - and an accompanying survey - will also be made available over the coming weeks to ensure those who cannot attend an event can still have their say.
