Next spring we’ll be celebrating your achievements at the all new employee Make it Happen Awards.

We are undergoing a period of significant change through Council of the Future, our transformation programme. Council of the Future relies on many important factors, but none more so than the skills and commitment of our employees who cover a wide range of professions.

The awards aim to recognise the individuals and teams that have made an exceptional contribution to the Council and an outstanding improvement to services.

To make entering as simple as possible, an online entry process is being developed – all you will need to do is select a category and fill in the online form. Being able to save your entry as you go, means you can hop in and out of your submission as and when you have time.

Because the awards are about your successes, it’s only right that submissions are judged by your peers. That’s why our judges will be employees from across the Council and they will submit their views online. If you are interested in becoming a judge or want more information contact the communications team.

There are 10 categories including a Community Choice Award which will run in partnership with The Falkirk Herald.  This award will provide the public with a way to nominate a Council employee or team who has gone above and beyond.

Finalists for each category will be invited to an awards ceremony held in Falkirk High School on March 18th.

Entries will open on December 5th and close on January 31st 2020.

We’d encourage as many of you to submit entries because the Council couldn’t provide the services it does without you – you help make it happen.
