Just over 50% of you completed this year’s Employee Engagement Survey, which means 3637 employees helped raise £3637 for Strathcarron Hospice. That’s an incredible 70% increase on the number of employees who filled in the survey two years ago, and almost £1500 more than was donated to the hospice in 2017!

Now the independent hospice, which needs to raise nearly £13k each day to keep its services running, will use your donation to help pay for 24 hours of specialist care for seven local people in its in-patient unit.

Claire Macdonald, fundraising manager, Strathcarron Hospice, said:

“Strathcarron Hospice has been providing end of life care, love and support to local people since 1981. This has only been possible thanks to the continued support of the local community - and we are incredibly grateful to Falkirk Council for its unwavering support. Your donation will make a real difference to local people living with, and dying from, a terminal illness. Thank you to everyone who helped to make such an incredible donation possible.”
