At the recent Corporate Partnership Forum the Good Conversations process / ethos was agreed. This means that the previous Achievement & Personal Development Scheme (APDS) and the Effective Behaviours Framework (EBF) introduced 12 years ago are "processes of the past".

Feedback from employees and the Trade Union's suggested that APDS was not consistently used throughout the Council. To make sure Good Conversations is more widely used the Organisational Development (OD) team has incorporated an explanation of the ethos in recent Coaching courses with managers. The feedback has been very positive.

If you feel your team or managers would benefit from an explanation on how to make Good Conversations part of our culture then please contact the OD team (OrganisationalDevelopment@falkirk.gov.uk).
