The ‘champs’ are a group of volunteers from different services across the Council who can provide help and advice on a wide range of digital issues. There’s nothing too small or too large for this ‘digital savvy’ network so don’t be shy and get in touch.

There’s currently 45 digital champions across the Council and with the roll out of O365, they are only too happy to help and support you with any challenges you experience – especially when a lot of staff are working from home.

A survey of staff  was carried out in 2019 to identify the level of digital skills across the Council and also to recruit ‘Digital Champions’ to assist colleagues with any issues and help to upskill the workforce with digital skills.

Karen Algie, Head of  People, Technology & Transformation said: “Over the last few months we have had to adapt and change the way we work very quickly especially with a large number of staff working from home.

“We have the technology to support home working and the roll out of Office 365 will be invaluable over the coming months.

“And our Digital Champions Network are there to help with any issues you may have, there’s a simple online process in place to ensure you receive the support you require.”

If you need support, complete the online form available on Inside Falkirk, in the first instance and one of the ‘champs’ will be more than happy to help you out.
