Pictured: Kerry Abercrombie presents at a council event last year

One of our teachers is set to inspire others in her field at a virtual global event hosted by Apple this afternoon.

Kerry Abercrombie, from Larbert High School, will be sharing and discussing her own experience and learnings as one of the country’s top Apple accredited teachers.

The event, part of a week-long celebration of teaching built around World Teachers’ Day, aims to showcase how learning can be enhanced using Apple Teacher, Apple’s free professional learning programme.

The informative and inspiring session sets out to support not only those staff with Apple Teacher accreditation, but also those considering working through the professional learning programme.

The event - which is aimed at teachers and is free to join - starts at 4.30 p.m. today (Wednesday, October 7th). Any teachers interested in listening to Kerry and others speak about their experiences can log on and register here.
