Remembering your own wellbeing

More than ever, your wellbeing is challenged almost every day with the stresses and strains due to the COVID-19 situation. It is important to take the time to recognise this fact and ensure you look after yourself physically and mentally.

Lockdown may be restricting a lot of activities right now but there are still many things you can do to keep your wellbeing ‘topped up’

Fit for Life

Fit for Life is a new scheme designed by Falkirk Community Trust to help get Falkirk residents more active. It is a series of six self-guided local trails and challenges in some of our most beautiful local locations, including Callender House and Kinneil Estate.

You can take part at any pace and at a time when it suits you.

Employee Assistance

A reminder that there is a confidential helpline set up for employees to help with personal, family or work-related problems. Trained staff are there 24/7 to help you and give free help and guidance.

Wellbeing Survey

Look out for an employee survey focussing on wellbeing later this month. The See Me Scotland survey will look at all aspects of our wellbeing and mental health. Please take part as your views determine what support we should be offering.

Working from Home

Working from home? Have a look at our advice for remote working, take a look at Desk Yoga (Search Desk Yoga on Inside Falkirk), and consider holding standing meetings.

Online resources

The employee section of our website has a whole host of online resources available that can help you as well.
