The partnership responsible for Falkirk’s community planning is developing a new ten-year plan with the aim of making the area a better place to live.
The Falkirk Plan will target issues and challenges faced by neighbourhoods and communities in the area, ensuring Council and partner resources are prioritised and deployed where needed most – with community voices at the heart of decisions.
Falkirk Council works with NHS Forth Valley, CVS Falkirk, Forth Valley College and others as part of the Falkirk Community Planning Partnership.
Community meetings
To understand what matters to people in the area, the partnership wants to hear from local residents and community groups.
A series of online meetings – each focusing on a different Falkirk-area community – begin on 13 April. These are open to all citizens and community groups, and a full list is below.
The community meetings are an opportunity for local people to have a say in the priorities for their area.
The virtual meets will be followed by an online survey to gather views widely, and to gain information on specific issues
